Want to look 25 at 45? Then maintain a fluid mind.
Unlike your body, your brain can grow new neurons even in old age. Most age-related losses in memory or motor skills result from inactivity and lack of mental exercise and stimulation. Consider your brain a muscle, and find opportunities to flex it.
To stimulate your brain:
Travel.
Our ancestors’ nomadic lifestyle provided tremendousstimulation for their brains that led to the development of superior tools and survival skills.
Challenge your mind.
Do crossword puzzles. Play Chess, Scrabble etc. Start a new hobby or learn to speak a foreign language.
Walk.
It increases blood circulation and the oxygen and glucose that reach your brain.
Learn.
New tasks like dancing, clay modeling; especially those that you’ve never done before will keep your brain active. And, watch less television, as that will put your brain into neutral mode!
