Bar Appeal : Cocoa for cavities?

We can`t recommend pigging out on chocolate for a healthier smile. But Tulane University researchers found that an extract of cocoa beans, theobromine, is more effective than fluoride for hardening tooth enamel, a key step in fighting decay. A toothpaste containing the extract could be for sale in  as little as two years and would be the first innovation in the cavity-fighting ingredients of toothpaste since 1914.
