Herbal Infusion

Fresh or dried flowers, leaves or bark, seeds or roots, pieces of dried or ripe fruit, grasses or nuts. Herbal tea can be made with any of these by soaking plant parts into boiling water for a few minutes to obtain the desired taste. The infusion, also called tisane, is strained and sometimes sweetened. Whatever be it, the idea is to extract the benefits of the soaked material – and benefits are many.
