An Intelligent food for your Brain.

Like other parts of your body, your brain too needs a healthy lifestyle to function smoothly. While physical and mental activity and social interaction is essential, a balanced diet goes a long way to maintain the health of your brain.

Here’s a list of brain food to make sure it’s ticking to the right tune:

• Glucose.
Providing fuel for your brain, eating carbohydrate rich foods in the evening promotes relaxation and sleep

• Essential fats.
Ensure your diet is rich in omega-3 fats

• Protein.
Proteins help make neurotransmitters which are vital for thinking. Make your lunch protein-rich to optimise mental performance and alertness throughout the day

• Vitamins and minerals.
They ‘fine tune’ your mind

• Water.
A well hydrated brain functions optimally

• Oxygen.
Allow your brain to breathe by exercising, eating small portions often and at regular intervals. Also finish your last meal of the day before 7:00 pm.
