Hold it right there! We mean tackle anxiety and stress right at work. Instead of de-stressing after a hard day, why not minimise and avoid stress? Here’s what you can do.

  • Keep your workspace neat and organised. A cluttered desk will only add to confusion and make you irritated.
  • Plan in advance. Make a list of things to do for the day and follow it.
  • Take a short break when tackling a tricky problem. Leave the taxing environs of the conference room and go for a short walk to restore your energy levels.
  • Listen to music; share a joke with an amicable colleague, etc. It will help you relax.
  • Don’t hesitate to ask for help if on a difficult assignment.Don’t procrastinate and push those jobs.
  • The closer the deadline arrives, the more worried you get.

Remember, it’s important to work hard and smart. But it’s not essential to turn into a workaholic.
